A discovery flight is your first opportunity to experience the joy of flying. You will be able to take the controls and actually fly the airplane yourself! After the flight we can discuss your options for flight training and answer any questions that you may have.
Discovery flights are also great gifts for birthdays, graduations, or any other special occasion. Your first flight is a great experience that will never be forgotten.
The flight begins with a walk around of the aircraft with the instructor for a preflight inspection. The flight itself will last about 45 minutes. During the flight you may fly the airplane as much as possible or as little at you would like. The goal of this flight is to acquaint you with the airplane, airport, and training environment.
You can bring a friend along if you would like, as we will be flying in a four seat aircraft. Please make sure to mention whether you will be bringing a guest when you schedule the flight. You can expect to spend about two hours at the flight school for a discovery flight.
